HEY Plymouth
An exhibition organised by Plymouth University Design Society to accompany a visit to the city by Hey Studio from Barcelona.
In early 2015 we were invited to speak to design undergraduates from Plymouth University, as were studio friends and former collaborators Hey Studio, all the way from Barcelona. To mark their arrival we were invited to submit a poster for a special exhibition.
As Barcelona and Plymouth are both major European ports, we used the system of international maritime flags to spell out H E Y as a welcome signal. Each poster is created from hand-cut sections of Colorplan, and the letters are overprinted in white ink.
