Sainsbury's Tea X Spicers
One that got away. Some of the work we did with Sainsbury’s and Spicers to explore positioning for their iconic Red + Gold Label tea packs.
Red Label occupies a special place in Sainsbury's heritage, as it was one of their first and most important products. Time has seen its position eroded by bigger brands with more marketing muscle, but we were asked by their tea partner Spicers to consider how it might reassert its status as one of Britain's best-loved teas.
We also applied the same thinking to their Gold label as part of a wider range story. Unfortunately this project didn't get beyond the exploration stage.
